In collaboration with Karl-Magnus Laundal (Bergen) I have helped to develop a new model of field-aligned magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling currents, and horizontal ionospheric currents, derived in a consistent way from low Earth orbit magnetic measurements from Swarm and CHAMP and dependent on solar wind and seasonal parameters. This model is known as AMPS.
